Builders
Building Bright Futures, One Robot at a Time
Now registering for Fall 2025.
Overview
The Builders course is where curiosity meets capability. Tailored for students in grades 5–6, this hands-on robotics and coding program challenges young minds to go beyond the basics and start building real-world tech solutions. Whether it's programming a robot to follow a path or designing an automated gadget, students learn to think critically, collaborate effectively, and develop a strong foundation in STEM through engaging, age-appropriate projects.
Program Details
The course runs for 3 months with 1-hour sessions each week. Students will explore key concepts in robotics, such as mechanical design, sensor integration, and algorithmic logic using both drag-and-drop and introductory text-based coding. They will build more complex robots compared to the Explorers level, solve guided challenges, and complete a capstone project to showcase their creations. Collaboration and iteration are emphasized, helping students learn not just how to build, but how to refine and improve their ideas—just like real engineers.
Your Builder will learn…
